Since you didn't pay collector price, I would say you have a nice daily wear watch you can enjoy😀

That’s exactly what it has become, and I’m quite happy to keep it for now 👍
The one you posted doesn’t seem ugly at all— didn’t you post about it on MWR? I’m amazed the stuff you’ve been able to dig up those past few years.

Remember the ‘60s, an era when men wore leisure suits, shoes with platform soles, wild Hawaiian print shirts open to the solar plexus, gaudy gold (coloured) neck chains, hairy chests, hair to the nape of the neck, gaudy, ugly finger rings, and watches like this? Okay, so you were spared. I remember those days, and they did happen!

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!

Here's one I currently have up for sale .... ugly as he'll but so bad that its good:

I forget the year but it was somewhere in the early 70s and Keinzle had a little project claiming to predict the watches we would be wearing in the 21st century. This was one of the results. (They didn't realise that steel Pateks would be what everyone wanted either).

By the way, that's 44mm wide and 41mm lug to lug. It's no shrinking violet.
