Time Capsule 1950s Shrunken Calf Strap

Been going through things I've collected & put away over the years.
Came across this old stock strap with original cellophane packaging & thought it might be of interest.
Found a Globemaster advert with a similar strap, color might be different tho.
Just a neat old thing you don't see very often.
Back into storage it goes, maybe one day I'll find a watch for it.

I love those straps! It's kind of hard to find reproductions of that style. I'd like to gather in more of them.

Maybe it is not shrunken calf but elephant leather... was used in that era

Definitely shrunken calf, I have elephant straps.
I also have some original Omega ads here somewhere stating these are shrunken calf.
