It was last Easter since our last Time 4 a Pie GTG so it's about time we had another one. Venue TBC but it is looking like Leeds on Saturday 1st September at 1:00pm. Usually meet for a pre-meal pint, nice meal washed down with some nice wines, a bit of watch show and tell and then a drinking session into the early hours and then if we are really lucky we'll see @Peemacgee dancing his way to the train station Confirmed attendees so far are the usual suspects of @Peemacgee @philh @Stu-Silver @chunkythebulldog @jimmyd13 do you fancy travelling up again, might be a wise idea to book a hotel in advance instead of trying to find one at 1:00am this time. Not too sure of who the Northern members are but the ones I know of are @michael e @ICONO @Fattony but open to all Couple of pictures attached from previous GTG's
I'm sure I could clear a weekend, given that much notice and there's a few aged acquisitions you all might enjoy seeing ... count me in (and yes, I think booking a hotel in advance might be an idea).
Chunky's here waiting for you I could do with the wallspace ... I just picked up an old master today ... probably the world's ugliest cherub!
Venue booked, it's a short walk from the train station. We've got a private dining room to ourselves in one of Leeds finest restaurant, great food, great wine but can't say the same for the company.
Eeh lad, what t' 'eck is that! <iframe width="854" height="480" src=" " frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Back from the land of sun and sand - so I’m definitely there for the great Yorkshire GTG. It’s sooo nice to see lots of green again. -and to be able to partake of a pint or three...
'As tha seen menu at this place Chunky's booked? It's got mooles mariner; lobste thermeedor; cured salmon (A wonder wot were wrong wi it?); there's all them japanesee beefs, the' even do a burger from it! A feel sorry for that lamb, tho. Seems the' killed it we' a cannon! (That's the last of me trying to do a Yorkshire accent).
Simon, you do a better Yorkshire accent than you do of looking like your alleged doppelgänger James Dean
Yes, count me in, great company, great food, great wine and a rare chance to see some incredible watches. If you boring your friends or your missus with watch talk because you don't have anybody else to share your passion, this is your opportunity to cut loose and geek out for the afternoon with some like minded folk.
