Tightening Speedmaster Reduced Clasp

Hi All,

Just picked up a reduced (3510 from the mid 90s) the other day and the clasp is quite loose fitting. It comes undone with very little effort, and even at times when I flex my wrist during normal movements throughout the day.

Any tips on how to make the clasp more secure? Ive read about people bending a portion of the stamped clasp, but only on Rolex bracelets. Or has anyone just outright replaced the clasp with something more secure? I have it on a strap now, but enjoy wearing my watches on bracelets.

Best,

JTK

I took a look at the clasp on my Reduced and first thought was "it's going to be very easy to make that so solid it will never release". I couldn't see a way to get to the working parts with the clasp closed. Not very helpful 🙁

But, there may be other Omegas with the 1469 bracelet so you could try expanding your search for advice to include that specific bracelet.
