·I posted a couple of months back about getting a brand-new titanium planet ocean for my friend only to have it not function correctly.
The crown did not have the "pop" which indicates that it was ready to wind.
We sent back to the authorized dealer who kindly and promptly replace it with another one. The second one keeps great time and does wind appropriately, but interestingly, does not have the same satisfactory pop when it unlocks.
Do you authorized dealer told was told by his Omega rep that the titanium planet oceans are different from the stainless steel ones, something different about the "tubing," and that they just don't do that same pop.
My Ti PO absolutely does pop.
@Archer I assume, as with everything with these watches, that there can be some variability. worth sending back again? Or don't worry about as it likely has no effect on safety or functionality?
What do you think of the omega rep's claim that The titanium ones are somehow different from the stainless steel ones?
