Through the looking glass

I really enjoy looking at my watch this way and thought I'd share my Monday morning view with all of you. I actually take my watch off as soon as I get to my cubicle at work. But I'll put the watch face down so that I get to see through the looking glass. My co-workers often give me funny looks when they stop by my cube. They just don't appreciate the history and beauty (yet)

I know exactly what you are talking about. I do the same, well almost. No cubicle, but work at home and even walk around the house wearing two watches. I am wearing my Ed White and Gemini 4 now.

Did you put a 3572 caseback on your 145.012 or are the aftermarket backs engraved nowadays?

If the former, what did you use for a movement spacer?

The average worker at my job has no clue about watches and they typically wear a Fitbit.

I place my watch down sometimes at work but always take it with me when I get up for any reason.

That is really cool, not everyone appreciates the mechanical side of watches.
I use to collect chronograph movements and have them in see through cases to show people what makes me love watches.

You could put the band on backwards, & then wear it dial down.😎
I find movements interesting. Even just the rotor on an auto.
