Each watch is in 18k rose gold and contains a caliber P450[/4C]. What do you think about the authenticity of each dial? In an effort to remain impartial, I will reserve judgement at this time.

I would say that the tight loops linking with the underline give it away.

I didn't see that at first, but I agree.

My first inclination that #2 was wrong was based on the poor-looking minute track.

IMO both #2 and #3 are redials.

Looking more closely at #3 (wondering what Ed is seeing ;)), I also think it's a re-dial.

#3 is a better redial but looking closely the inking doesn't look quite sharp enough. And you are right about the loops that is hard for most redialers to reproduce and usually the first give away. Hey and I could be totally wrong here.:whistling:

2 is all wrong, 3 has muddled "e"s but nice minute track, 1 could be legit but the line weights are throwing me a bit between the "J" and the "C," and I want it to be a little more "serif-y."
I'll say all three redials just for fun:eek:

I say it's the same watch, pictures taken at different angles or with different lenses :D

    #1 & #2 are certainly different dials.
I think #1 is original and sharp, if it is a redial it was done by JLC, as they have the old patterns to do it right.

Several dozen grown people around the world staring crosseyedly at three almost identical dials of a watch we are not going to buy??

I think we all should make a cameo in the next remake of Rainman.

Agree. The fonts are too thick and lacks finesse. But I have been fooled many times before.

    1 & 3 for me.

Don't trust the A and the E's, other thickness of the lettering and the tight loops on 2.
