Not an Omega but Tissot. I am thinking of going for this and would like to hear what the experts' opinions are on this piece.

Lovely Lemania 13CH movement. It looks fresh! No expert on these, but the movement looks good, and it is of fine quality! Same as Omega 28.9 CHRO. The version with two pushers came in 1938. Production of this movement had seized by the late 1940's so that should date it.

The example is definitely a fine one. I think price is high but would like to hear how much would be consider a reasonable amount to pay. Thanks!

Is the case marked Tissot, it should be?

Also Tissot chronograph movements of this vintage had nickle plated plates, not the gilt ones here and their movements were marked on the bridge holding the center wheel. Mismatched bridges seen here don't look good either.

The dial also looks like it came from a smaller case, note the wear ring outside the edge of the tachymeter scale, where it appears a smaller bezel once rested.

I'd have to with Norm on this one - something looks very frankenish about that watch.

Yes, the caseback is marked Tissot. Wow, thank you for this diagnosis!
