Hi, I’m looking to buy my first vintage omega pie pan and have come across this watch. I was told that all parts are original. Would greatly appreciate if anyone can share their thoughts about the watch and perhaps share a ballpark valuation figure. Thanks! Best Ozy
I don’t really know which is why I inquired about the asking price. Personally I’m not even sure I’d pay $2000 for it, but that’s not to say others wouldn’t.
I’m going to be a little more circumspect than my illustrious fellow members. It’s a nice watch but there is spotting on the dial, the case back is ‘lived in’ and I think the lugs may have been refinished to look sharper than they really are. I’m fortunate enough to have been ‘gifted’ a really sharp 14k dogleg pie-pan from a fellow member. Compare the lugs and bezel, the OPs lugs appears to be missing their upper chamfer. 4K would be way too much for the watch IMHO even if it was perfect.
Have you considered the 18k constellation in the sales forum: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-constellation-pie-pan-168-005-18k-solid-gold.90493/
