Thoughts on this vintage Speedy Mark II 145.014 Racing Dial 1970

Hi Guys,

Would really appreciate any input from some experts on this Speedy a dealer has near me. Described as all original and looks alright to me. One thing which concerned me is the patina on the seconds hand on one of the subdials doesn't appear to have the same yellow patina as the other subdial hands.

Could anyone else tell me what they think about the originality/condition of this as I am in no way an expert?

Thanks very much!

Cheers
Jack

My version has a similar white subdial hand with orange chrono register hands, maybe a different version

Thanks very much for the responses and pictures guys. Does anyone know of a version with more yellowy chrono seconds hand or think it is possible for it to age in this way?

The orange hands can fade to a yellowish colour as far as I know. May be an indication that they are original.

The case in the OP is a bit polished and has lost the sunburst finish. The finish can be restored at the cost of some lost metal. It looks much nicer than the smooth polish on this one.

Still, for a good price, it could clean up nice.

I think you can do better condition wise... If this is priced way low then may be
