Hi, appreciate your help on this UG with Turler markings. Any idea on the exact model? Based on the caseback inscriptions, it appears to be from 1957. I'm intrigued by the inscription as a quick google search shows it belonged to a German politician. I would appreciate a quick translation as well. Thanks in advance. Sorry, but the German politician Ernst Albrecht has nothing to do with the owner of the watch.
The watch was presented in 1957 for 23 years of working as a helper in Zurich.
The German poitician was born in 1930 and studied in Tübingen and Bonn.
Don't think that he started a second career at the age of 4 and travelled between Tübingen and Zurich all the time ;-)
By the way, he is the father of the German defence minister.

    Oh, forgot the translation:
The Head Office PTT (should be the Swiss post)
    To Mr Ernst Albrecht
    Helper in Zurich
in recognition of his 23 years long service
    23. November 1957
