I can't decide whether or not I like this rally strap on this watch.... What do you all think?

It is a nice strap but.. I tried lots of straps on mine and found that there was already a lot happening on the dial and didn't want to over complicate it.

Mine below..

Very nice. Wish I kept mine but I always had trouble telling the correct time without having to think about it

Personally, I prefer a rally strap on a chronograph. Maybe consider a leather pilot strap…

I agree, simple brown leather strap like the third and fourth from the left is how I mostly wore them.

well, that’s what the “tail” on the hour hand is for: the right half of the dial (in a 24up version) is always also a 12hr watch (in the AM, the big hour pointer tells the 12hr time; in the PM the tail tells the 12hr time). (In the rare 12up version, it’s the left half of the dial that is always a 12hr watch.)

rather brilliant little bit of design in the glycine.

Great looking straps, are they Matteo’s @torrestraps ? They look like his style, but the shape on the left looks novel and interesting.

I have always worn mine on NATO straps, leather for cooler months and canvas for the summer. I know a lot of people on this forum have a pronounced dislike for NATO straps, but their opinions are incorrect.

They look really good on a NATO. Never knew of such a dislike, I guess it’s all very subjective what people prefer on their wrists. Going back to the OP, indeed I think there are better options on this thread than a padded rallye style strap.

Simple black with white stitching were my thoughts.

Circa late 1960, Felsa 692N, 10-sided back, Hack functional, Non-crosshatched crown, trapezoid date magnifier.

Thank you,
The one on the right is from Georgios of Greenstrap off Instagram.
The one on the left is a locally made one here in Vietnam.
Cheers

Thanks for the info, they do make great straps in Vietnam,
both the shape and the color look very good on this watch.
