    Hi,
This watch is for sale in this forum.
Should I be worried that the Rotor is a different colour to the works? image.jpg image.jpg

    Hi

In my opinion, the 'odd one out' would be the auto winding bridge (the large piece on which the rotor mounts with two jewels and a little polished plate secured by a screw - running more or less vertically in your picture). However, I don't see that as a big deal, others might. There are some marks on that bridge and it may be the rotor is loose and is catching it. It could just as easily be some dirt and I lean towards the latter.

The rotor and the bridge over the barrel with the two big meshed steel gears (on the left of your picture) seem to have aged uniformly and have a similar colour.

Declared interest! I have also looked at this watch but, it is a bit expensive for me at the moment. Without going into too much detail, for me, it needs a service but it looks a nice watch. If you don't take it, I may put in an offer in a couple of weeks.
