    Hello everyone,

I just purchased this watch, but I am new to this market, and so I'd greatly appreciate your input.
The case-back says 204610 - 2. I would like to know if all looks correct. I do realize the crystal was replaced at some point, but am more curious about the dial.

I have two main problems with this watch.

Firstly, if it is a 204610-2 then it should have a black dial. Given that it has a Cal 215-2 then I think we would expect to see "microtor" on the dial too so this looks like a dial from a different and later watch.

Secondly, where dials are genuinely "tropical", this very often means that the caseback and/or movement will have been affected by the humidity too, which appears to be the case here.

I'm a sucker for patina too and think the strap looks fantastic against the tropical dial but I'm afraid I think it is a case of style over substance here.

I agree completely. Great looking watch, just not correct, and these were the same conclusions I came up with. Thank you for taking the time to help. Seller is a great guy, and perhaps, was just unaware, hoping he operates in good faith. Really unfortunate, as it is really nice. Just not what I wanted.

Always best to ask for the case reference upfront as well as a movement shot.

I note they have another Polerouter for sale. It looks like it might have your dial :whistling:
