My education continues... as does my wandering eye! Would love to hear thoughts on this one: original dial, movement, etc etc. No pics of the crown, so more to come.

    Thanks all!

Gonna be small, if you didn’t already know that.

Case lost definition it appears from pix

    Love the radial numerals

Appearance alone, whether original or old redial,is a no go for me.

Questionable appearance inside case back, too.

Thinking in 1944, the crown shouldn’t be signed (which of course I can’t confirm with these pics) and the movement seems odd in that case. Also don’t like that the adjustment is slammed all the way...

Thanks for this. Yeah, waiting on confirmation, but would imagine 32mm, which I don’t mind for a dress watch.

Case back is fine, US market watch confirmed by the OXG marked movement.

Nice R17.8 Movement. Always liked those things. They're quite reliable little calibers as long as they've been serviced.
The watch looks nice - I like the pseudo-radial numbers and the excellent dial patina even if the lugs are a little worn.

Thanks for all the help on this! Did find out it's 30.5mm, but it's a beaut! Going to be a pass for me, but it's been sitting for a while at a decent price. I have no officiation with the watch or the seller, just thought I'd add the link if anyone's interested in throwing out an offer: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-14...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
