Someone got a nice white gold dress watch with the original box for peanuts. But you have to like that scalloped bezel and linen dial.

A lot of people don't like those attributes. IMO that kept the pool of buyers low and the price down.

I'm a little skeptical that's a 35mm watch, despite the description. I seem to recall these are about 33mm.

    Are you the buyer?

I did win it. I'm surprised no one was bidding on the piece. It looks beautiful classic and a bit different to me. I'm not sure if it's solid white gold or gold plated. There is a marking say KE 14K at the back. I will post picture when I have received it. Thanks everyone!

If it takes an 18mm strap, then it scales to 33mm from the pictures.

Longines seem not to be chased to the same measure/intensity as other brands.

    Nice pickup

K&E (Keuffel & Esser) is one of Longines' contractors that made cases in the US to Longines' specs for Swiss dials/movements to be installed. It's certainly solid 14K gold. I have the diamond indice version of that watch (reference 2770). It's a caliber 370 made in the 60's. Looks like a good buy to me.

It is approximately 33 mm in width without the crown.

ps - We call that bezel pattern florentine.
