Hello all.
I have been looking for a nice Longines Flagship 30L for years with a non patina clear original dial. They appear to be challenging to find. I Have just seen this one come up that does just look a little too good to be true but the text does look identical to known genuine examples. Although hands on this model I believe tend to have lume I have seen some without alos. Case does look polished but wondering if I can live with this for a nice dial. Really interested in the consensus if you think this is a redial ?

Thanks Michael

Original dial, but I wouldn't be able to live with those distinctive lugs being polished to that degree.

Dial looks original to me, but the case is pretty bad.

I’m a fan of Longines but that doesn’t do it for me although, to be frank, I’m not keen on sub-dials.

I’ve found that Admirals, some Conquests and (because they’re newer) Conquest Heritage watches seem to have good dials, hands and cases.

I would also be curious whether the ship on the back would be underwater from over polishing.

Thank you all for your expert input, it is a shame that the case lets the dial down so much. I will keep on looking for one of these.

thanks again

Michael,

Are you only interested in a Flagship with a 30L? Could it be a Flagship with a different movement, or a 30L in a different watch?

Walter, I am looking for 1950s flagship with 30L in particular 101, 102, or 104 with a white dial.

Aha, that does make it more difficult. I was looking on ebay last night to kill the time and found several 30L movements in non flagship, but only a couple Flagships, and none with a pristine dial.
