I agree in the redial. That doesn't qualify as a "good" redial in my book. Too much wrong with it. Replacement crowns and at least one of the hands, too. Avoid!
Yeah, I'd agree with that. But they've made deeper inroads into the Tri-Compax dial restoration market than in the Aero-Compax market. Redials are hard to do--it's a real art. This coming from someone who has commissioned a hand carved dial blank after I was displeased with the existing dies. I hate all redials. But sometimes it's necessary and then, well, it's tough to get right. Some of the Tri-Compax efforts out of Europe (and Vietnam's Space Compax dials) are impressive as objects in their own right. But this ain't one of 'em.
