Hi everyone, Saw this watch for sale on WUS - http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=1025762 I am not familiar with vintage Longines watches, but have become intrigued after some googling about the 30L movement. I've been looking for a simple manual wind dress watch, and this seems to fit the bill. What do you guys think of this watch? Is the price too high?
The price is fair, but since the dial is less than perfect you might try making an offer. The case & crown look good. BTW, the reference 8888 is a behind the scenes favorite of Longines 30L fans. It might be one of the least expensive way to get into a 30 series caliber.
