    Terrible example with a refinished dial and a heavily refinished case. Not to mention a currently too high bid price placed by someone who keeps on bidding on items from this seller.

    Dial has been refinished in black. Case isn't grossly over-polished as the lug chamfers can still be seen, but as you say it sure is shiny.. No movement pics is a worry.

    This is basically a 'new entrants' piece, but if you want filly authentic, including crown, I think you could do better

    Chamfers look like they were created by the polishing rather than preserved in spite of it.

    You guys confirmed my suspicions. I'm new to the vintage watch game, but I'm learning. My dad was looking at a Rolex from this guy, but when it went for $2700 it was reposted the next day. This dude is scary. Makes me mad and sad at the same time.
