Hi!
I’m posting this on behalf of a friend looking for a nice speed!
What would you think of this one? It’s a 145.022-76 and it seems to be in nice condition for me. I like the faded pulsometer bezel although my research showed me it’s apparently a more recent service piece. The seller is asking 4.5k€ which seems a bit high to me when looking at speedmaster101 charts...
Thanks for any input 😀

Well as the resident expert on these it’s an honest example. Around November 1976 production.

bezel is not standard and may be original though. Some people know these better then I, or have the book at hand.

seems high to me for an OK case with good/decent dial and hands. And correct dial for production period. I’d want to see normal not sun up/down light. I’m curious if that lume is actually yellow/tan and not a slight green as is more expected on these.

it’s attractive though but I’d max at 3,500USD assuming the bezel is period correct.

I also own a ghost dial 145.022-76

Bezel looks bleached to me.
Yeah, honest ghosts tend to be darker on the inner ring imho.

Case is quite soft, especially the bottom right lug seems quite polished

EDIT:

+ A lot of corrosion:

Pass on this one!

I don’t think that corrosion. Looks like gunk to me.

If you zoom in I can't imagine that this could be other than corrosion but who knows...

That is a bleached modern pulsations bezel. Unless that is expressly and voluntarily disclosed I would tread with caution
