I was offered this for £1,700. Would that have been a good deal? Seemed to be in full working order, movement looked pristine, full gold, big dial but not sure how big.

 

Lot's of examples in the eBay "sold" listings and on the internet. Probably need opinions on its authenticity, too.

Agree with @kreyke subdial markers seem repainted.

 

It is pretty, but is a redial. The placement of Swiss Made is an instant give-away.
