I like the dial and the absence of a date display. Not crazy about the bezel or the "B" on the end of the chrono hand.

I quite like the platinum bezel but does appear a bit stark/simple?

The date is there, but you have to look hard to find it.

Quite clever the way they handled the date. Screen Shot 2021-08-23 at 4.05.37 pm.png

Give it a brown ceramic dial and I’ll buy it.

Edit

oh wait the ice blue is only on the plat? Sorry I’ll buy the real thing.

Obviously, I spoke too soon. It is clever, and I think unique, the way they handled the date. I like it.
But I still don't like the bezel. I know that is classic Breitling DNA, but it's not for me.

Interesting that they went back to the Rouleaux bracelet. Makes me think of a TT Chronomat I used to own.

I never liked the design cues of the Chronomat line, nor that bracelet At close to $10k it would be a very hard pass. Dial color is nice, but not orig idea.

What is unique/clever about the date?

Well, not in the strictest sense of the word unique, but in such a fashion that is not as obtrusive on the dial as many other brands can make it. I guess tucking it away in the sub dial takes my fancy.

This is such a quintessential '80s/'90s Dad watch that you either have fond memories of seeing them (and want one yourself) or you absolutely loathe them. There seems to be no middle ground.
