This has the applied dial and smooth back with 821 movement. Looks like the bezel has been replaced with a newer one though. Any other thoughts on its condition?
looks pretty clean. bracelet is a later replacement but overall as long as the serial starts with 26 it looks to be good. The crown I have to see if it is the smaller correct crown or a newer replacement. A nice transitional piece from what I can see.
Thanks. Yes, the serial does start with 26. I don't have any pictures of the crown though. Which would be the correct bracelet for this?
Value of these are going up for sure. A full complete transitional on original bracelet, DON bezel and correct logo crown is reaching 4 or so. Just subtract some for the missing features but I would say if all is good this is around a 3 to mid 3 piece given the market of today.
The vintage market is a bit more tricky in terms of pricing so also factor in a little more depending on buyers demand
I am not familiar with 821 movement... Looks like yours is 861. I think the price would be somewhere between $2500 to $3000. Some premium for dial with applied Omega logo. The bracelet is of later issue.
Cool. The shop is asking around $3,000 so sounds like that could be a decent buy. I will go have a look at it again at the shop tomorrow. As for the crown, what should I be looking for to determine if it is original? Is that just the size (6.5 mm?)? Also, what would an original bracelet in pretty decent shape cost? This is probably a silly question given the high demand but is it possible to buy a DO90 bezel?
Thanks, OK, I will have a look. This could be my first vintage so I really want to get something in really good shape that will wear well and still retain its value.

I wouldn't worry so much about the crown. Instead I should check upon the reference. If it's an 145.022-68, it's a good buy @3k
THis crown looks a bit too small to me, there is too much gap between the crown guard and the crown itself, isnt it?
