Just curious what you guys on here think about Squale as a watch company? Good, bad, or indifferent?

Huge fan of squale, both modern and vintage. Awesome history behind them. I think they're one of the best bang for buck watches on the market. Here's the current one I wear regularly...1 of 40 made, designed by the Amsterdam watch company as a tribute to the blancpain German bund military diver. :)

I think for the price they're a nice watch to have. If I bought one I'd probably solely use it when I'm out in the ocean. Maybe swap between it and my daily beater.

    Nice looking piece watchthirst.

I am definitely a fan, probably more of the vintage ones but the modern ones are pretty nice too. As @watchthirst mentioned they have a great history, and modern ones are fairly priced and hold their value reasonably well. Here are my pair, an early 80's 100 Atmos quartz with the thicker case as used by Blancpain for the FF Bund diver, and a work in progress FF Bund !

Whoa dude, that's awesome! I was not expecting that. What I wouldn't do to have that bund as my project watch ::love::. I'm really excited to see what you end up doing with it.

Hard to see those watches in the flesh, have been looking for a 1521 PVD here in nyc and they only seem to have 1 authorized retailer...
