apologies if it's in the wrong place and I'm not sure if the question has been asked before, but thoughts on this Seamaster 300

Looks to me like it's had new hands and possibly dial or maybe a refinish?

 

The dial and hands appear to be a modern service replacement. The case is polished to death. I would stay away.

 

I'm pretty sure that the dial is not a service replacement, as I can see some t's on either side of the "swiss made" at 6 o'clock. It has likely been relumed. That or else it has spent its life in a box and was not exposed to light. Would that keep the lume white? Maybe, not likely the case though.

 

You are correct. I missed that. Regardless the condition of the dial is inconsistent with the rest of the watch.

 

still pulled 3,000 dollars though, i'm impressed
