Ok so this didn't come from my Uncle or my Grandfather. Sorry to disappoint.

It actually caught my attention while I was trolling watches on the net, and because these dress watches aren't really my area, I thought I would ask for some help on whether the pricing and quality match up. My concerns would be around the case, looks pretty crisp to me, unpolished with some honest wear on the caseback. The movement looks clean and the crown looks correct to my knowledge. There is a crack in the crystal but it is supposedly original. I'm not familiar enough with the dial, but it looks patinated which I actually like

All original according to the listing, it's priced in the high 700's.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

    Cheers

I don't think it is a linen dial... just patinated dial with spots no ?

It may be linen, but someone has been violently ill in that bed. Huge pass from here.

Sure doesn't look like linen. Just your standard Caterpillar Breath.
Ask for better picture and clarification

Sorry, it was a bit cheeky I guess :)
As cicindela says, there are no sign that this should have a linen texture. I'll hazard a guess that it's probably "just" the vertically brushed, satinised effect common on Seamaster 30s.

    My own 600:
