    Hi, Everyone,

Wanted to get some thoughts on this Polerouter Jet. They've told me it's not a redial, and that all components are original, but I wanted to check with the experts. Anyone know anything about this particular reference? Thanks. Screen Shot 2015-05-08 at 8.44.45 AM.png Screen Shot 2015-05-08 at 8.45.16 AM.png

Looks like a redial to me, though not an expert on these. In any event, one of the least attractive Polerouters I've seen.

Thanks for your responses. What makes you say that about the dial? (That it looks refinished, not that you don't think it's attractive.)

"Swiss Made"'printing is way too high up on the dial. Sign of a lazy redialler.

Printing looks a bit fuzzy also.

    A redial for sure,

Thank you all for your guidance. Seller is still claiming the dial is original, but I'll steer clear. I appreciate the responses.

Another issue, I believe, is that the oversized crown was found on the Polerouter Super model, and not, to my knowledge, on others.

That alone is a good reason to run, not walk, away from this watch. If the seller honestly doesn't know, then the correct answer is, "I really don't know".

This seller is either ignorant or dishonest.

    Not good in either case.

Yes, found on the Polerouter Super, but also, rarely, on some of the other, later Polerouter models. I've got one and believe the crown to be original. It's also documented on the Polerouter.de site.

Could you please provide a specific link to where you have seen this documented? I'm familiar with the site, but haven't noticed such documentation. And along those lines, have you ever seen either catalogue or advertising material with a non-super and that distinctive crown?

    Thanks!

They were going to accept $750 for it before I turned it down. Too many red flags thanks to the forum. I appreciate the save.

;)I think fost was asking the price as he has a spectacular solid gold polerouter for sale on this site and he's trying to work out why people would buy this but not his.... worth a look maybe?

Not really, i was just wondering if the price i ask is fair based on the market price.
