Thoughts on Constellation dial?

Hey there!

Came across this movement and dial for sale that seems to be in pretty good shape. Thoughts on if this is an original dial? Has cal 564 movement which I think is appropriate, but the watch case and stem/crown don't appear to be included (asking seller why) so have a little bit of pause on how this is in such good condition if the case was not / is missing..

Yes, the case was scrapped for the gold. I guess it was C-shaped case.

Looks pristine. What is asking price? May be fun project you can research the correct case and put together a nice watch. Might find one with decent case and bad dial. Lots of these around.
1970. My gold cap 168.029 cal 751. I would try to find 14k or 18k if possible but may be pricey w gold
They are very nice wearable watches

Exactly my thoughts! Been looking for an "excuse" to dip my toe into watch making so this would be a good easy entry I think! Current price is about $125

Seems like good price to me is it running?
I think the dial alone is worth more than that. I would grab it for that

You can get going quicker with a gold cap case like mine and then take your time trying to find solid gold version.

the case reference for the date only is 168.017. I think the coin bezels are most attractive

this YouTube video is by our resident OF C case specialist Kaan @kaplan who is a great resource for all things C case he might be able to help you find a nice case
