    Good morning everyone

I have been looking at a Geneve with a cal 1481 movement, but can't find much info about the movement. After having a look through the archives I found a couple of mentions of it although nothing major.

Is there anything particularly good or bad about the movement, or is it just a good reliable performer?

All opinions and info gratefully received.

    Thanks

I believe its a movement shared with Tissot as the Tissot 784, but it was made after the stage in the 1970s where Omega had transitioned from the 5xx series flagship movements to lower cost alternatives, so if its a Geneve Dynamic, personally I'd be looking for something with a 56x series movement, but that may just make me a snob

    Thanks for that.

In fact I am looking for a Dynamic with cal 565, but this is just a simple Geneve that I might be able to get cheap.

I don't think the model I'm looking at is normally worth more than £150/200, so it isn't anything special. Just a nice looking watch in good condition for a relatively low price.
