Thoughts On Aqua Terra GMT?

I'd love to get some feedback from owners and those who may have considered it and went with something else. I don't think my place on the batman waiting list is going to happen, and I'm thinking about alternatives. I love the Planet Ocean "Oreo" but can't get past that 17mm thickness. Can you even wear that under a normal shirt cuff? Lately, I've been giving this a lot of thought and would welcome some feedback. Thanks in advance.

Thickness ain't bad, but the L2L and terrible lug design ultimately killed me on this one. Owned the GoodPlanet variant for a few months, and could just never rectify how it awkwardly perched on my wrist. Soon as they bring back the GMT in the new Aqua Terra case (which is super-wearable, according to my experience with the 43mm World Timer), it'll be back in my collection.

I think it’s a beautiful watch and GMT regardless of brands are the most versatile watch you can buy. I would buy it.

....or save your money and get the steel version to be released in the next few days (quoted Dec 2019 release)

I really don't like the 24 hour markers on the dial - prefer them on the bezel, GMT Master style.

Oh my God... This is beautiful, the only problem is the 43mm.

I know the 17mm sounds thick, but it's not any more noticeable than the regular Planet Ocean on the wrist. Granted, if the Planet Ocean is too thick, then I understand. I have around 6.7" wrists.

That is just beautiful. I have absolutely zero need for a world timer, but I really, really want this one.

These are just brilliant! I'd much rather pay $8900 for this than the new Bond Seamaster (which I also like). I just need to find a job where I travel enough to require this! 😀

That is my design quibble with this piece, which I really otherwise like. I think it would even look better to move those numbers beyond the indices in place of the numerals indicating minutes on the dial.
