I’m buying my first vintage watch and after much reading and looking I found a watch I like. I wanted to get your thoughts before I buy the watch. The listing says they the engraving on the back might have been buffedout.

It won’t be my daily wear but weekend watch.

 

It's a nice model. I would say correct hands. Wrong crown. This model came with a sunk crown. Heavy patinated dial. Rotor looks like a replacement (looks different color) and you should probably count in a service. What's the asking price? I've once owned one.

 

Thank you! It’s on eBay for 499 or best offer. There are many refinished watches for around the same, but I wanted something original.
