I came across this Longines Grand Prize. Would appreciate the opinions of the Longines experts out there. These are the sellers photos. The price seems in line with where these have sold in the past. I don't have a movement shot which is unfortunate. I've asked, but the seller doesn't have one and doesn't want to open it up. Is this a front loading case? Also, does the applied logo look uneven to you? The fonts seem to be ok from what I've seen online and the hands appear to be correct. Not sure about the crown or if the lugs look crisp enough. That being said, I've only been an admirer from afar and could definitely use some help.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's a front loading case.

Yes, the logo looks crooked but that might be because of the angle of the photo. It's also possible, but unlikely, that it came that way. After all, we've seen wonky stars on Constellations. Otherwise the dial looks correct. While the hour & minute hand are also correct, the second hand is either a replacement or cropped off.

Overall, it seems to be in decent shape and previously lightly polished. It's got a caliber from the 34x / 35x series inside (probably a 340, 342, 350 or 352 since there is no date window) and would have a serial number correlating to somewhere between 1959 and 1967-ish.

Thank you Dennis. Didn't catch the second hand, was too busy looking at the fonts and hour and minute hands.

I'll have to see it in person to decide if I'm interested. Though there's no rush and probably best to wait for a better example.
