Hi OF,

Wanted to get myself an affordable alternative blue dial Datejust (preferably fluted bezel) & came across this. Probably I will find myself a fluted bezel and put on it.

Reference: 71060
Year: Late 1960s
Movement: ETA Cal. 2783
Automatic Case Diameter: 34mm Case
Lug to lug: 18mm
Material: Stainless steel
Crystal: Acrylic
Asking Price: USD2100
Watch only, no box & papers

A few question & thought:
1) To me, condition looks marvelous however the price is a bit on a higher side I think? At USD2000 I could probably go for vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Air King or maybe a Rolex Datejust?

2) In everything original to your eyes? The end links, rivet bracelet, the dial

3) Does Tudor holds its value like the Rolex? Can it increases in value overtime? Especially for this particular model.

4) How is the ETA movement? Is it reliable and easily serviced?

Would like to hear from all of you! As I consider myself having limited knowledge on Tudor/Rolex

Hold onto that thought and just say no to this Tudor at that price.

Nice example but high price , tudor does hold value but not like rolex there are some models that are very collectible like the sub tudor that increase in value and other that are less wanted and collectible which dont rise in value overtime.ETA movements are pretty easily serviced by the vast majority of watchmakers.
