While I don't see any originality-issues except for the crown, which doesn't belong to the ref, I find the price still a bit on the high side. 750€ for a gold-plated examples with a dial that's not just patinated, but damaged (scratch, something chipped of on the cross hair in the lower middle). A replacement crown isn't necessarily an issue, but personally, I'd want the clover crown on that ref and also one that matches the gold tone.

I would ask if the pictures were taking before or after the service. If it's the latter, I'd be sceptical about the service, looking at the position of the regulator...

All in all I'd say patience would buy you a nicer example for that kind of money.

It's gold capped, not plated.

My bad, just used the wrong word, of course it is - the first coffee of the day hasn’t kicked in yet, apparently. 😀

You need to have double shots for your first brew of the day to get you going.
Then you can taper back coz you'll probably be a bit hyper.

The furniture on that dial is very wonky.

I can’t see wonky - which bits? Isn’t it just camera angle?

I have limited patina tolerance but for a 1958 watch, it doesn’t seem too bad albeit about $250 - 300 too much for a watch that clearly needs a service and a bit of TLC. I think the crown is a replacement but it’s not wildly out of place.

Index at 5 looks like a shorter replacement?

Thanks, I agree. And 4 too. I thought it was camera angle.

Dial has been tampered with and crown is wrong. It is not worth 1/3 of what is being asked.
