I was traveling in upstate NY and I want to try to make my grandfather’s Seamaster Deville like new again, but keep it with original parts. The crystal is badly scratched and I happened to walk in a small watch shop and found this little gem for $27. Very hard to grab the shot of the little omega logo in the crystal, so I apologize for the bad pictures. It is a little dusty, but I don’t have anything to clean it with until I get home. Just wanted to share.

Is it uncommon to find original parts in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave? Because down under it's as rare as hens teeth.

    Nice one.

Thank you and to be honest I’m not too sure. I’m pretty novice at this, I just knew which part I needed. I think Omega still makes these, but from what I’ve seen online they sell for $50-$60. The package for the part definitely looked older, so I was just happy to find this at a good price.
