What does a watch enthusiast do while on vacation, visit multiple ADs and commence the "exploration phase" for that next great timepiece! Seriously, what else would I be doing? Although I have the Omega 1957 Trilogy Speedmaster on order, it's never too early to begin strategizing for the next acquisition!

That Brietling popped out at me as a neat example.
    Thanks for showing

CK2998s are definitely out there. Plenty in the grey market as well.

Which one are you coming home with? That'll really make it a great vacation!

My vote is the CK2998 - I own it and love it. But the Explorer and the Sub would make top notch choices too.

So, what's next then? Love the SM300, and I'm kind of secretly hoping that the '57 LE seamaster tanks the resale value of the SM300 coaxial. Would love to pick one of those up at some point on the cheap.

That Breguet leaves a lot to be desired.
Liking the Autavia more than I want to. That'd be my choice (bang for buck wise).
Nice pics! Looks like how I spent my last vacation... no regrats

I'm with Diverdown, the autavia is awesome value compared to the rest! I love the CK2998 but the Autavia is 1/2 the price!

As much as I think the SM300 is a perfect watch. Darn it that Breitling is close to perfection.

Yes yes the Autavia would not get kicked out of bed either.

I am too scared to look up the size of it @Foo2rama as just being a Brietling it's got to be 44 or over

    Edit: 43mm

I did the same thing. Shame that's it's going to wear much larger then a Speedy, mostly due to the larger dial. I'm going to bet the subdial size and placement matches a Speedy.

Kill the date window with fire and take it to 39mm with the same movement losing the tachy outer ring... sign me up and call me Susie...

They could always put the tachy on a bezel and sit it outside the dial :D::facepalm2::

Some great choices in that wristie gallery but as others have mentioned the Transocean really stands out & isn't regularly seen in the wild, so that would get my vote.

It's still early into the "exploration phase." I'm looking at possibly a dive watch or a pilot watch for the next acquisition. Perhaps, I may even add a German such as a Hentschel or a Nomos. But, as you can see from my gallery, I can be easily distracted and thrown off course!;)

There is plenty out there. For a LE the number was high.

Lots of nice looks, thanks for sharing

Personally my eye is drawn to the TAG Autavia, nice looking watch, I do wish the bezel were a bit smaller
