Very nice watch, but probably worth about half the asking price.

I'd be concerned about a pie-pan with a cal. 501 movement. I don't think this style of dial was introduced until after the cal. 505 was brought in. I would want to have a look at that.

    Take care,

Too much money - the dial is most important part and the case has been polished too much. I would say avoid at anything near the BIN price.

Agreed. I like that dial, but the B.I.N. price is absurd for a gold capped watch. It's approaching solid gold prices.

Good point on Ω being off center - what other indicators suggest to you is a redial?

in this photo I saw the emblem off center and it also appear as if the pie line does not strike through the labeling. So I failed the dial MOY test. The second hand doesn't seem to match either. Even though this model is only gold capped, it is stunning. This particular one is over priced even if the dial was authentic.

I wouldn't be too quick to judge the dial without a perfectly square dead on photo. All of the photos are a bit askew.

    Regardless, the price is nuts.

Dial is OK, but not super, case is way over "refinished". OK for $750 maybe, but not more. 501 is alright for this dial, but where is a picture of it? Not a good risk here for a watch that is sold regularly.
