    Way back to 1951. Bought this one from a chap I know. He told me that it was purchased by his Dad in Switzerland.
    It comes with original Omega papers. It is 38 mm across.

    Hi. I do have a similar model. Being not an expert in Omega wristwatch, I cannot help about reference, etc. but I think they must be of the same period. Mine is 34 mm without crown. Jean-Pierre

    Please tell me where do you see the similarity. The 38 mm was not a common sight in watches in the 1940s or 1950s.

    I was speaking about dial layout. But you're right, 38 mm was scarce in that period.

    Ref. 2505 is 37.5mm in size without crown - there are a few other case references with the same size with the 2505 probably being the most common of them. Then there are 2 ref. which are 39mm in diameter without crown - ref. 2544 and 2545.
