    What ever it was originally, looks like it was turned 90' when refinished, so that the date window is now vertical.

    Absolutely. But why on earth would you want to do that? To fit a Seamaster date-at-six movement?

    Too large for a date-at-six, you would see the teeth on the date wheel

    Yes, he means that they did it anyway to fit the movement on a crude piece of crap

    No, this looks like a total fake.

    A "Mumbai Special" is a watch that either is original except for the robin's egg blue dial, or that has been frankenized from a bunch of miscellanous (but still properly branded) parts.

    After I politely pointed out that Omega never made a Constellation with the date at 6 o'clock, seller has ended the listing.

    excellent ! we all should do more to clean up these frankens/fakes in reporting to ebay. they still end auctions , if the complaints roll in......kind regards. achim
