Today!! Sorry for the horrible IPhone photo but the watch looks fantastic in person. just want to share with you all on my newly acquired 22278. I hope to upload more photos once I took some under sunlight condition. Will keep you all posted. Thanks for looking!
Thanks all. Didn't get a chance to take pictures today but will try again tomorrow. Brent, the watch is 33mm. The Wittnauers are 33mm as well, my girlfriend wears the one on the right and she loves it. I say go for it.
How about this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vintag...197234168?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item19e3df23f8Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Finally get to upload this, had a computer snafu earlier...Still trying to figure out the best angle to shoot this one I put it on my unlined horween strap and the weight is just perfect. This is my first Universal and it is definitely one of the most comfortable watch I own, I can see this will not be my last, would eventually like to acquire an aero-compax. How rare are the black dial aero-compax? I think that is my grail watch if I were to have one.
Hopefully, this will cancel out my previous embarrassing ebay linkage by just a little... http://www.ebay.com/itm/251364823587?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Really love these dome crystal on vintage watches. I wanted to wear this to work today but don't know how to break it to the girlfriend that I got another watch...
"This? New? Oh no, it's just from the bottom of the watchbox. I've had it forever. Oh look, I got you these flowers."
Or you can honestly say that it isn't a new watch. You ain't lying - it's an old one. That's the beauty of vintage.
You are in a very very slippery steep downward slope, my friend. As most members in here will remind you: "Resistance is futile. Come to the (dark) OF side. Bwa...ha...ha...ha"
