.......when you've packed away all of your watches and secured the container.

Then you walk back into your study and see a watch case full of watches.

Ten minutes before you're due to leave on Christmas holidays.:mad:::censored::

Frantic grab of the briefcase, empty contents on the floor, pack watches in snack bags, add bubble wrap and GO.

    Problem solved.

Now I just have to keep an eye on my kids and the watches, and count them before I leave for home!

Just drove over to Adelaide for the week to spend Xmas with the kids and my sister.
Melbourne to Adelaide, 700 kilometres, two 15 minute stops, 7 hours 30 minutes.
Windscreen cleaned twice on the way.

    Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

You are taking them with you or securing (hiding) them in your home?
If you are taking them with you, I hope you are staying for 15 days.

My wife and I took the scenic route last time we visited and took the great ocean road for part of our trek from Adelaide (wine tasting thereabouts). Took us a bit longer ;). I really tried hard to find a Holden ute to rent, but wound up with a crappy Jeep thing instead. Will try harder next time. Would like to head to Margaret River Valley and Perth next time.

Love the “R” - I had the Mark 5 R32 back in the day. However, as a German, I can’t help but smile at the max speed of 154 km/h - that’s a standard cruise over here...

More like Granny cruise for you Germans! :D The rest of us are attentive and stick to the right when entering German Autobahn to avoid being run over from behind... :whistling:

The R32 was a beast with a beat, I'm sad that VW went to a four for the new Rs.

    154kph?
Have you seen the country roads here, it's not just the cops who try to stop high speeds. Sudden "undulations" can upset you badly at anything much higher than 150kph.

Like driving in Sweden, then. :D Except there the cops have to put up a sign in advance if they want to do speed controls with a camera..
