Looking for some work files and stumbled across these pictures...

From The Viennese Clock Museum in Vienna.

Astronomical Clock built by an Augustinian friar in 1679. 30 different readings. Gold plated movement, its calibrated up to year 99999. One of the hands will rotate only once in 20,000years.

Its on the vacation list for when I go back to Europe.

Someone had a lot of time on their hands!

One revolution every 20,000 years. From my calculations looks like every 19,998 years. We'll have to wait and see.
