No, no, a thousand times no!!!!!!!

It's beautiful and speaks to me of the hard life and many experiences that have contributed to it's weathered countenance. Such marks of age truly contribute to the soul of the watch from which it has been taken and with which it should be reunited as soon as possible. If you do not love this dial, you do not appreciate the beauty of true patina ::rant:

    or

    It's fubar :whistling:

    You choose.

One mans 'beautiful patina' is another mans 'pile of s**t'.
However, a line needs to be drawn somewhere - creative descriptions are getting quite ridiculous.

Is this even an authentic dial? Assuming it's supposed to be an SM300 with sword hands - there is no "300" on the dial, the indice digits are closed rather than open, and 'Swiss Made' is in the wrong place. So any faux patina is intended to distract buyers from noticing these otherwise obvious tells?

Swiss made above the minute tracks certainly stopped me looking closer at the "patina".

Barnacles = patina... you guys didn't know that?

The dial and hand are from the little-know Seamaster Spongebob edition.
