Hi all, I've posted a fair few watches in here since I've joined and I appreciate all the help. I'm thinking of snapping up this (I'm waiting on a photo of the movement) seller wants about 900usd. s-l400 (3).jpg s-l1600 (3).jpg s-l1600 (2).jpg s-l1600 (1).jpg

That was my thought re condition, but I don't feel as though I have the tools to make the call.

Be patient. The US OF boys (and girls) are still in their beds dreaming of vintage Speedies. You'll get a few people weighing in by the days end...IMHO simply waay too expensive.

Dial is fine, hands may have been relumed in the past. Shiny case and soft edges suggest a polish. Crystal is a signed replacement, and crown is either polished or signed replacement.

Expensive, though you could be paying for worse at that price.

Only concern is movement, and if seller has to get it checked for photos, the watchmaker will have to test the gaskets again as these are one piece cases (i.e the movement comes out of the crystal.)
