Thinking of buying this, although it has no box or papers. Looks 100% genuine to me but I'm not a master of these so I'm just wanting a second opinion. Thanks!

Does that look funny to anybody else also? I'm not familiar with the old battery powered AT's so I've never seen the case back but it makes sense that it wouldn't be a display back. How about the OMEGA - is that the correct font?

I thought a couple of things looked off. The case back being one of them, also the end pieces of the bracelet look funny, especially in the second photo. Shouldn't they fit better like other modern Omegas?:cautious: Overall it looks a little beat up.

It certainly could be the quality of the pictures (and the condition of the watches) but WOW what a difference!:cautious:

Not sure the hands look right, or the case back, or the dial printing - any chance you can PM me the serial number? I'll look it up on the Extranet for you - for now my advice would be to stay away....

Sorry for the slow reply people been away from the computer for the evening, thanks for the once again fast replies. The condition of the watch is average to say the least, certainly not up to standards of Dennis' as we saw from the pics ;) Archer, I'm afraid I don't have the model number, although after studying the pictures more, I agree the dial does seem strange, the whole watch overall just doesn't look to be usual Omega standard. Maybe that's just because of the poor condition though. Tough one..

If it is the case back is not quite right...the pics above look too rounded, and not enough detail...

Edit to add that the reference George is stating has an applied logo on the dial but painted OMEGA:

These are some photos I pulled from my network to show comparison. I think it is just either worn down or polished to hell

I've emailed him this morning Al asking him if he can provide me with the serial number for the watch, still waiting to hear back from him but as soon as he replies I'll let you know. I'm not going to make any moves on the watch until we know it's 100% genuine.

Its the Quartz version which doesn't have applied OMEGA lettering, but I'd still pass on it, its one of Omega's least popular versions of the AT, and looks like its been trashed.
