Hi Seiko experts

I’m thinking of this Sport watch as a work watch and wanted opinions on price and quality etc. $200 used seems reasonable. Thanks in advance

 

I’m no expert but love my Seiko’s and the new 5’s with the 4r movements are real workhorses.
Lot of watch at used prices and time keeping is not to bad over a period of time in my limited 4r ownership.
20mm lugs mean you can throw anything at it. Rubber all day everyday might get a little warm.

 

Those watches are fun, but the crown for the inner bezel gets bumped easily, so difficult to actually use for tracking anything.

But, lots of fun Seiko goodness to be had in or near that price range.

 

I was recently given a Seiko 5 Sports watch with the 4R36 movement and I found that the accuracy can be pretty good if you know what position to rest it in overnight. After some experimenting, I found that it would gain 5-6 seconds on my wrist during the daytime and lose that time overnight if I rested it crown down. If rested overnight dial up, it would gain 11-12 seconds every 24 hours.
