I was recently given a Seiko 5 Sports watch with the 4R36 movement and I found that the accuracy can be pretty good if you know what position to rest it in overnight. After some experimenting, I found that it would gain 5-6 seconds on my wrist during the daytime and lose that time overnight if I rested it crown down. If rested overnight dial up, it would gain 11-12 seconds every 24 hours.
