I've been thinking about adding a diver to my collection for a while. After seeing @master of speeds, I am very tempted by a Croton Nivada Grenchen. There are two I am looking at one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Croton-Ni...e-Venus-210-/201414480586?hash=item2ee53d12caPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

    Hi!
These came with various movements. Before deciding I suggest doing a little research into what movement is inside. It makes loads of difference for collectors if you ever decide to move it along.
The tropical one does not look original to me. I more than guess the lume has been redone.
    Here's mine (Valjoux 92) as a comparison:

Thanks for the pics, yours looks pretty sharp:thumbsup:, most out there seem to be quite polished. Yes, I had read about the different movements, I guess I should be looking for a column wheel, like yours, better resale value? may just have to be a bit more patient:unsure:

Collectors are picky bastards. Column wheel is normally preferred over the opposite.
