So my delightful Seamaster Pro 300m quartz which landed last week and is keeping excellent time: only because I don't know where I stand with WR, I'm thinking about a full service along the lines of :
    • Dismantling of case
    • Dismantling of movement
    • Ultrasonic cleaning of case and bracelet (where appropriate)
    • Oiling of components and cleaning of movement
    • Replacement of seals and gaskets
    • Re-assembly of dial and hands
    • Re-assembly of watch
    • Full water & pressure resistance tests
    • 5 day mechanical test
    • 2 Year warranty
    • Polishing of case & bracelet
the online service price shown for this "luxury watch repair" being "from £240".
I'm being a bit limp about "must be Omega trained" but I don't know why and I'm sure I could send it to the watch man I use for other lesser brands and just save myself some expense.
The watch is not new but (I think) late 90s.

    Any comments? Any suggestions please?

Does your watchmaker have access to Omega parts?
