Hello Everyone
For all the new members this is a PSA.
FYI a hi end eBay scammer/ hacker has curated a large collection of high dollar ended auctions and he constantly highjacks other eBay seller accounts and post this collection for sale with a link in the description or in one of the photos “ email me for half off sale” etc ….
Well one of the items that is in this collection is a 10 inch Chelsea Base & Ball house strike that is basically a one off clock due to the size and the dealer name on the dial. This clock was really sold about a 4 years ago and it remains in the collector's collection, so he told me a year ago.
So if you see this clock for sale on eBay now it’s a scam .
I call this clock “ the Flying Dutchman “ as you see it on the bay from time to time but never makes it to port !
It here and then it’s gone !… But don’t worry it will be back sooner or later .
I have noticed another reoccurring item a P260 wrist Chronometre they are uncommon enough that anyone that pops up is practically unique … and I have seen the scammer report this as often as the “ Flying Dutchman “.
